I was looking for a photo in my iphoto today and came across this picture of Eve and I with our recognition medals for having written a book here in San Diego. It was a very proud moment for both of us. There are lots of fun new things happening for Eve and l in 2010. Keep checking back in for the latest news!

MATTIE: With Valentine’s day around the corner I felt it fitting to share this sign from the heavens that landed at my front door a couple of weeks ago. Yes, this is a picture of a heart shaped leaf formed to perfection! Love is in the air and floating everywhere around you. All we have to do is open our eyes and see it for the beautiful gift that it is. I have always appreciated Valentine’s Day and the message it brings not just to the “Love of our Life” but to everyone we love.
EVE: I remember seeing that leaf and thinking the beauty of love and nature can be found in the smallest most perfect things. Here’s a great quote for the day:
