Snapshot

It’s the day after Labor Day and my house is quiet. My son is napping, my husband’s at work, my teenagers are out (duh!) – I’m alone at the computer with my thoughts and I can actually hear them! Wow… a moment in time to myself:o) Moments of clarity to ponder how much I love my life. It’s these sweet moments that fill my heart with joy and surround the love inside like a cozy snuggie. (Yikes… sorry about that.) As the wonderful Frederick Buechner (whom we quote often in our book) says, “All moments are key moments and life itself is grace.” Beautiful… Oh, there’s the phone.

  1. Hey Eve,

I love those moments so much! It’s usually around 6:15 a.m. I can get that quiet time and I love it! Usually the birds are just waking up as they call out to each other from tree to tree. The mornings are getting a little darker and cooler because fall is just a couple days away. Everybody take a deep breath and soak that in for a moment!

Okay now for me, it’s time to feed the cat! :)

    Yer Pal,
    Mattie
