Finally doing the 3-Day walk!

Posted by on Jul 31 2010 | Events

So, after talking about doing the Susan G. Komen for the Cure 3-Day walk for the past 5 years, I’ve finally decided to get off my butt and do something about it. This is personal. Cancer sucks and I’m pissed off! I lost my father to pancreatic cancer last year. My sister, Gabrielle Xavier is a 6 year survivor and Mattie Mills is a 4 year survivor. I’m walking because it’s the only way I know how to make a difference and it’s something that brings me hope for a better future for my children and their children too. Thank you to everyone who has made a donation. As my dear friend, Jessica Smith says, “Any donation, no matter how small, will make a difference!”

I just finished a UK summer tour and by asking people to help with my walk by giving any extra change they had I raised $838.44! Every penny counts… I truly believe that when we get one cancer cure they will all fall. Please consider visiting my personal page and making a donation.
