A Sunday To Remember Benefit Concert

Posted by Eve_Mattie on Nov 07 2008 | Life Keeps Happening!

This was a beautiful fundraiser sponsored by the Kiwanis of South Bay Marina on Sunday October 26, 2008.  Mattie and Eve spoke and sang about their journey of Forty Schmorty! Later The Eve Selis Band performed while everyone enjoyed a delicious meal, watched an amazing San Diego sunset and danced the night away!  Forty Schmorty! was there to sign books and raise money for Relay for Life and Komen For The Cure 3 Day!

We would like to thank Liz Scott for bringing us on board that evening, we had a blast!

Women’s Conference Long Beach, CA Oct. 21-22, 2008

Posted by Eve_Mattie on Nov 07 2008 | Events

Here we are at the Women’s Conference in Long Beach, California selling our book. With each book we sold and every person we spoke with it either involved a hug, some laughter, tears and cheers! So twenty thousand women and 18 hours later we were able to walk over to the Susan G. Komen booth and hand them a check for over $300.00!

We would like to thank www.nonprofitshoppingmall for allowing us to share their booth with us! We sold so many books and made new friends from all over! Maria Shriver got a beautiful gift basket from us with a couple of Forty Schmorty! books and copy of Eve’s recent CD Angeles and Eagles! Eve met Lesley Jane Seymour Editor-in-Chief of MORE Magazine and handed her our book! We are looking forward to hearing from her in the very near future! This was the greatest experience ever and we hope to attend again next year!  Special thank you to Janie for helping us with our table dressing we are so grateful!
