We gave Joan Osborne a Forty Schmorty book!
The KYXY 96.5 and Sophie 103.7 Cruise for the cause fundraising event for the American Cancer Society was amazing last night! There we were all 700 of us taking a ride on the beautiful Hornblower, “Inspiration” around sunset! For two hours there was shopping, eating drinking and of course entertainment by Eve Selis and Marc Twang! I stepped in and sang a few songs with them and got everyone clapping and singing along with us, it was great!
Before the ship took off, singer-songwriter Joan Osborne best known for her song “One Of Us” stopped by to say “Hi”! Eve and I were first in line to give her a Forty Schmorty! book, autograph a couple of her c.d.’s and thank her for autographing a guitar 2 years ago that was auctioned off at “Music For Mattie”! Of course we had to have a picture taken with her!
