MATTIE: Thanksgiving was last Thursday November 22nd! I continue being in gratitude 24/7. Good times and not so good times and I’m stickin’ to it!
EVE: Yum-Yum! It was definitely a beautiful celebration with family and friends; with large amounts of great food and my favorite… Pumpkin Pie!! This time of year it is easy to be grateful for all of our blessings. Life is so good.
MATTIE: So as we head into the most amazing 2008 let’s start celebrating G-R-A-T-I-T-U-D-E now!
MATTIE: Ahh this was our very first podcast, “What is Forty Schmorty?” We had a lot going on in our lives at that time didn’t we?
EVE: Yes indeed! You had just finished your 8th round of Chemo and I > was 5 months pregnant. I think we really were living the Forty Schmorty > lifestyle!
MATTIE: Forty Schmorty is a dream we made a reality! Our mission is to prove to women out there in this world that they must never stop dreaming, hoping and wishing!
EVE: It is so important to realize we have the power to make anything happen!!
MATTIE: There are so many times where I feel like we are doing the
impossible. >
EVE: I think you and I found a mantra that works: “I love the life I have!” We will not be forced into an “On our way out!” category but we will embrace who we are and use the wisdom we’ve attained over these past forty years to make ourselves and our world around us better.
MATTIE: Yes, “I love the life I have!” Things might seem so crazy…
EVE: But we’re doing it together by combining our strengths and > staying focused on the end result. Now if I could only get a good night > sleep…
